There may be some confusion about the new Re-Use centre.

• The Cloyne Waste site is a transfer station, and as such does not accept electronics.  
• The closest site that accepts electronics for North Frontenac (NF) residents is the 506 Site.  The NF sites (and items accepted at each) are detailed on our website  https://www.northfrontenac.com/en/our-community/waste-and-recycling.aspx?_mid_=18888
• Addington Highlands (AH) residents only have access to the Hazardous Waste facility at the 506 Site ie not electronics.
• Addington Highlands residents have to access an AH waste site that accepts electronics

AH recently issued Waste Site permits and there was a fact sheet included that identified accepting electronics at ‘all Waste Sites’.  We have notified AH about this issue and asked that they differentiate between full service waste sites and transfer stations.  They have informed us that electronics can be taken to Kaladar, Mackavoy, Vennachar, Weslemkoon & Hartsmere sites.
