Water Levels
You’ll recall that on Easter weekend of 2019 we had unprecedented amounts of rainfall that led to extensive flooding and damage to boat houses and/or docks. We have been working with the Mississippi Valley Conservation Authority (MVCA) on what we can expect this spring and we have the person responsible for the water levels as a guest speaker at our AGM. There will be a very informative article on the 2019 Flood in the MPOA Newsletter.
Current water levels and flows are available on the MVC website at www.mvc.on.ca. Click on the View Water Levels link (upper right corner below the banner), agree to the disclaimer, and then zoom in on the map to see the Automated Gauge Data at the south end of Mazinaw. (To quickly zoom in, click the "4" gauge cluster icon and then the "2" icon. Once you're there, click the upper Gauge Location icon and then the Automated Gauge Data icon.)
